In the summer of the of 2010 I sold my home of 6 years in the Pickaway WV area. Prior to closing, I started searching for a temporary rental. Still uncertain if I wanted to build or buy, I needed a place to live in the meantime. I quickly found that rentals were hard to come buy in the area and requested the assistance of friends and family, all to no avail. Before any talks of purchasing or looking at homes, Roger and Alicia were the only agents of several that I had contacted about seeking a rental who had even returned my call. One was a great lead on a home close to the river which I barely missed out on before it was rented. I took mental note of their help, realizing that little or no commission is made by agents on rentals. I've also understood from some that they feel that it's harder to show and sell properties being occupied by renters. This seemed to be no issue with the Pattersons. As simple as it may sound; their willingness to help, prompt return phone calls, and prior professionalism displayed in business dealings with my father made my decision of who to call when I did start looking to purchase a home a no-brainer. It was a very smooth and fairly speedy process. My schedule is hectic due to frequent travel and Roger and Alicia were more than willing to accommodate. I admire their contribution to the community, their involvement with their children's 4-H endeavors, and their overall work ethic and professionalism that they project. I would wholeheartedly recommend their services in the search for a property, as I look forward myself to workin closely with them once again. Sincerely, Kristopher P.
